No. Camping passes and wristbands are sold separately. We did this to keep the cost as cheap as possible and wanted to make sure each participant only had to purchase what they needed.
You can pre-purchase wristbands through the website for $50 or purchase them at the gate. We recommend purchasing them through the website to help reduce wait times at the gate.
Yes. Please be aware that everyone in your vehicle will need wristbands to get through the entry gate to access your camping spot. These wristbands may be pre-purchased through our website for $50 each or obtained at the entry gate during the event. Kids 12 and under are always free!

All participants are asked to clean their sites and fire pits and check out by 12:00 PM PT (noon) on Sunday, September 8th.
There are no additional charges for extra vehicles or trailers within the Halfmoon Bay Campground. However, all vehicles, offroad vehicles, and equipment must fit within your reserved space. There will be no overflow or overnight parking available.
Dozers are not required in this area. Area 19 is an existing campground with a paved surface.
No flags or additional ORV tags are required on your vehicles to access campsites in Area 19. Flags and ORV tags are required only when you enter the dunes.
Area 19 can be accessed from Salmon Harbor Drive.
No. These are dry camping sites located in a paved parking lot. There is water located throughout the campground. Campers can fill their trailers before parking, or if your spot is close enough to a water spigot, you can run a hose to the water source to top off. Campers are not allowed to stay connected to the spigots during the event. The hose spigots are only available to fill tanks, not to provide a constant water connection during the event. There are no dump locations for gray or black water in this campground. Gray water is not permitted to be dumped on the pavement or in the grass. If you need your tanks serviced during the event, please call Roto-Rooter at (541) 290-0775. They will be camped on the sand and would be happy to service your trailer for a small fee.
Campfires are allowed in the campground. Participants must use the fire rings supplied within each campsite. Participants are required to follow all County and local rules concerning safe campfire operations. This includes temporary burn bans that may be in effect during the event. Glass bottles and pallets are not allowed in the camping area or in the firepits. Any trash, debris and unused firewood remaining at the end of the event must be taken with you when you leave. Please help us leave the campgrounds better than we found them!
Area 19 is an existing campground and has multiple dumpster locations throughout the campground. We ask that all participants help keep the dunes clean by using these dumpsters during the event.
Area 19 will have five (5) portable restrooms and one (1) handwash station near the campground entrance. Participants will have access to a shower trailer near the campground entrance.
Area 19 will have a full-time host. The campground host will be camped just north of the restrooms. Feel free to swing by and say hi as they are there to help and answer any questions you may have.
